Need Some Incentive to Get Moving?

So, my friend Jenny, author of the wonderful Put That In My Face, is hosting a weight loss challenge to help with the fundraising for the Nike Half Marathon in April.  The entrance fee is $10 and the winner takes home half the total pot.  Not too shabby.  If you ask me, money is a great motivator to make just about anyone want to loose weight.  Just visit the link here to sign up.  It's a four week challenge beginning on February 18th to loose the greatest percentage of body weight.  Think about it, you get to do something positive for yourself and help out a great cause.

Now I know at first glance, a weight loss challenge contradicts with the dessert assortment I'm offering up to five lucky winners who follow my blog.  I've worked with strict dietary guidelines before and if you're looking for 100 calorie cupcakes, whole grain fruit bars and multi grain peanut butter balls, I can do that.  Eating well can in fact be quite delicious!

In the spirit of the challenge, I'll also committing to only posting health conscious recipes for the next six weeks.
